INSTRUCTIONS
Week 9
Now I can move onto creating the proper splash art for my characters. I have three characters in total, but two of them are in a single character being the girl and the fox dragon. Starting off with my male character, Minjun. His aesthetics come from a lot of traditional designs I had found in South Korean culture. Such as the dancheong designs in architecture, to their hanbok and dopo clothing. Along with some other cultural design motifs I used in his design, while also trying incorporate a graceful feel.

While working on the line art, I realised that the way he was pulling out his sword would actually be super uncomfortable and borderline impossible for him to do. So I changed the position of his arm to fix this i

WEEK 10
I've now begun the colouring progress for Minjun. I saw this cool tip on tiktok on giving the skin temperature and I used that as a base before shading his skin and it worked really well! I have also started on Kajis splash, it's a little harder since she has this whole fox dragon wolf creature thing and I don't have the most experience with animals so it's a bit difficult.
WEEK 11
After the feedback from Mr Kannan, I have ammended the issues and continued forth. I continued the shading on Minjuns but I felt that the materials on his clothing were not very accurate to silk at all. So I asked for some tips from Mr Kannan and will apply them after. I have also been working on the 3D model of Kaji. I will be modelling her as I modelled an adult male (Nyx) last semester and I was recommended to do her instead to expand my horizons.
WEEK 12
This week I have finished the expression sheets for both Minjun and Kaji, along with starting the shading on Kaji. I have also changed the look of Minjuns clothing to be more silk like. I modelled a snowflake in Zbrush and will be using that as a base when doing his final splash art.
WEEK 13
I have continued shading and have almost finished Minjun completely. I just need to do a few more final touches, along with adding all the effects and particles. I have also progressed on the turnaround for Minjun.
WEEK 14
This week I have progressed and finished both splash arts, along with the 3D render of Kaji. I now need to finish. The turnaround for both characters along with their prop breakdowns and lastly the entire art bible. I'm not too sure as to how I will do the bible yet.
WEEK 15
FINALLY. I am DONE, I have completed the turnarounds for both characters. I also changed Kajis name to Keiko instead. I realised her names translation was a little fishy and uncertain, so I opted for a more reliable Japanese name. I also finished Minjuns turn around, along with both their prop breakdowns. I particularly like all the stickersr on Keikos props.

FEEDBACK
Week 8: Fix Min Juns leg which is bending, the perspective is off. Everything else is fine, continue onto colouring and drawing Kajis splash art and modelling her 3D.
Week 9: face looks smushed for kaji
Week 10: upper body done
leg still got issue
find the centre line
what material is the knee pad thingy, the form depends on it
look at knee armour, like 2 overlapping pieces of metal
When something has a pattern and is bulging or warped, the pattern WILL be affected. consider it when drawing the knee armour
kajis mouth is a bit too big
twist and turn of the arm is an issue
move kajis leg running more forward
foreshorten her striaght arm
REFLECTION
Well... that was one hell of a ride to say the least. I genuinely am so exhausted I am so proud that I even managed to reach the finish line considering how much I contemplated just giving up for good. The amount of work in all of my classes combined was seriously just overload. The only reasoan I even finished was because of how much I had to sacrifice in my othe classes. I really loved this module so much, but it just felt so... much. Not alone, but in combination with four other modules it was really just a pain at times. I've learned a lot, but the cost of my own health was really just too much.
